As usual, I set the entrance of the Sun into Scorpio on 23rd October for Westminster, London.
The 29th degree of Virgo rises; this was the degree at which the eclipse on 21st September fell. In the UK the eclipse was not visible, therefore we count it as a new Moon on steroids, but it is noticeable that it is an anaretic degree rising.
In the 1066 Coronation chart the Moon was a 29 Pisces in the 12th house. The 1066 chart signified the end of the old British rule and the start of the new regime. Could it be that we see dissolution, or a change in rulership in our country? It does not seem likely at this time, but the stage may be set for changes in the near future.
At the time of the eclipse on the 21st September, there was a cyber attack at Heathrow airport; plans were approved for a second runway at Gatwick airport and Keir Starmer announced the Government formally recognised Palestine as a sovereign state.
Having this month’s Ascendant falling exactly on the Eclipse degree does seem to suggest the issues around the Libra Ingress will be carried forward. That is to say, transport and communication matters will be to the forefront this month.
Communication covers not only the internet, but all forms of travel within the country, as well as mainstream media.
The Sun lights up the third house and is accompanied by the Moon, Mercury and Mars who disposes of these planets. In mundane astrology the third house relates to all forms of communication, transport and the dissemination of news and information. This suggests a focus on all these issues.
The Sun rules the 12th house of institutions, spies, secret societies and those that work against us. It is also the house of large animals. There may be more news coming out regarding nefarious dealings, or secrets related to members of the Government and Opposition parties. Even in the mainstream media, there are more references to various government members acknowledging they are involved with the Fabian Society that is affiliated with the Labour party and the Foundation for European Progressive Studies. (The Fabian Society was founded in 1884 as political think tank to progress left policies across society via gradualist and reformist efforts rather than through revolution).
As noted above, the Moon is also placed in Scorpio where she is in fall. She is just clear of the rays of the Sun so at her first visibility in this new solar month. She applies immediately to Mars her dispositor, and sect mate. The Moon is generally taken to indicate the people of the country. In this chart, she rules the 11th house relating to Parliament, the House of Commons and the Exchequer. Positioned here in the 3rd place, it could indicate a female person going to war or being damaged in some way.
Mars strong in his own sign of Scorpio, will move onto the degree held by Mercury, before trining Jupiter in the 11th and Saturn in the 7th sign or 6th place of Pisces. Obviously Moon and Mercury will be the first to aspect the superiors, but what can this tell us about this coming solar month? Mars is both the planet of War, but also the protector. There may be battles to protect the people and the Government.
The Moon rules Jupiter in the 11th in the sign of his exaltation. Jupiter’s signifies largesse and good fortune. However, we note he is slowing down prior to turning retrograde mid-November. Might there be some unexpected good news relating to financial partnerships that may boost the Government’s coffers? On the other hand, it could point to the Government pushing through their legislation to introduce digital ID despite the public outcry against such a move. It may be they push it through, but it could be rescinded later in the year due to some legal anomaly. Time will tell. We may not find out how this Jupiter plays out until late November in the next Ingress, but he will be back at this degree on the 26th November when the Autumn Statement is released.
Jupiter rules the 7th and 4th signs, the Angles. He applies by trine to Pisces, the 7th sign which contains Saturn, but is in aversion to his diurnal sign of Sagittarius.
Looking at the chart, we can see the stellium in Scorpio are all applying to Jupiter and Saturn by trine. Generally a trine is an aspect of ease, matters come together easily, but I wonder what will come together as the aspects perfect?
This suggests the last week of October and the first week of November may point to matters arising related to the media, transport, our partners, unions, and the health of the country. For some time on alternative media there have been murmurings of some sort of virus outbreak, whether amongst humans or animals the chatter doesn’t say. With such moist conditions, it is not inconceivable that something may incubate or fester, but we could just put that down to change of season as it is generally this time of year we get outbreaks of flu.
Between the 10th through to the 20th, there is a lot of planetary activity in the skies; Mercury turns retrograde at 6 degrees of Sagittarius, the degree held by the Moon in the Aries Ingress. Mercury and Mars conjoin, Sun trines Jupiter pointing to Jupiter soon to enter his retrograde period, at the same time, the Sun trines Saturn who will now station direct and Mercury enters the heart of the Sun. This points to several changes will have their roots during this period. We should not overlook matters arising concerning the stock markets as the two superiors perfect their aspects at the same time (17th November). Be prepared for stops and starts.
With four planets fixed, it seems this month, those in control (indicated by Mercury) will not readily change their stance, although the close proximity of Mars does make me wonder if there will be a “war of words” or maybe more strikes that will further cripple the economy. I also note, Mercury at this ingress is exactly on the degree of the King’s Sun.
On the 5th November we have the full Moon at 130 Taurus. In the monthly ingress chart, Taurus is the 9th sign highlighting overseas matters. Here we have some positives as Venus is in rulership and the Moon and Jupiter are in exaltation. The water element is diminished as there is now some fire in the chart. Hopefully the weather will be stable for the bonfire night celebrations.
The Ascendant of this Full Moon chart picks up the MC degree of the Aries Ingress. Saturn is now slowing down prior to retrograding, but is now partile trine with Jupiter raising issues over finances and health of the nation. It could also point to matters arising around our leader(s) as well the finances or assets of the people.
Just prior to the Full Moon, Mars enters Sagittarius followed by Venus into Scorpio on the 6th. Mercury stations retrograde on the 10th at 6 Sagittarius, and Jupiter is now slowing down prior to turning retrograde on the 12th November.
As Jupiter stations retrograde, so Mercury and Mars conjoin at 5 Sagittarius. There is a lot happening and if we look at the Full Moon we can see how matters related to the Aries Ingress are being picked up.
This (Aries Ingress) was when the huge fire at Heathrow caused over 1,000 flights to be disrupted and figures released showed the Government borrowing was over £4 billion more than expected and on the 26th March, Reeves delivered the Spring statement, and King Charles spend a short period in hospital. Reeves will be delivering her Autumn budget 8 months later as the Sun approaches this 6th degree.
This chart holds good for the fortnight until the New Moon on the 20th November falling at 280 Scorpio, just a few days prior to the Sagittarius Ingress.
With all but Mars in water signs, it may point to a wet end to the Scorpio ingress. This lunation chart holds chart until the Full Moon on the 4th December. Apart from the fact that Mars is the only planet not in water, there are few connections to either the Aries, Libra or Scorpio Ingress charts.
It looks to be a less than cheerful month.
